Since working with Radical Xchange as Visual Curator, my knowledge of graphic design, event production, collaborative campaign management and event promotion strategy has immensely grown.

The point that brought me to Radical Xchange was a yearning to learn more about the history of hospitality, specifically the underrepresented contributions of POC folks too food and beverage. It was in 2018 that Ashtin, RADXC Community Architect, and I connected in Chicago. We share the belief that cultural critique, social accountability, historical context and intersectionality are the essential elements to creating informed spaces. This connection later blossomed into the creation of the annual event Resistance Served.
